Loving the weather!!!

Here is a nice healthy 26lb fish.  There was a lot of surface activity today.

Montser Cats!!

The past few trips have yielded some monster catfish.  Pictured below is a mid 70s and a 50lber.  Catching fifty plus pound fish as a bycatch isnt a bad way to spend your time!!!

The fishing continues to be great in December.  The weather has been awesome and the fishing has too.  We went after some big fish today.  With the approaching cold front the fish were very active.  We caught a 18,22,25,26,28,32,36 today.  It was a great day to be out there. 

Excellent Fall Fishing!!

The fishing has been unbelievable this fall. In October alone we caught 30 fish over 20lbs, 20 fish over 30lbs, and the big fish for the month was a monster 44lber that measured 48 inches long. That fish in the spring would be well over 50lbs. The bite has been very good and this pattern will hold through the next month or so. This is my favorite time of year. Great weather, great fishing and almost no boat traffic. Come out and get in on some of the best striper fishing of the year!!!

Summer time patterns are in full swing. We have been catching fish using all methods downlines, freelines, boards and pitching baits. Watts Bar has been putting out some nice fish this week. We caught several over 30lbs and a bunch in the mid 20's. The morning and afternoon bite has been really good. I have found some shady banks in the afternoon that hold some nice fish and keep us out of the heat. Give us a call and book a trip! 865-789-1991 See ya on the water!

The fishing has been great and the weather is hot. We have been doing really well catching bigger fish in the past few weeks. We have been using very large baits in the 10 to 18 inch range to catch the larger stripers. Come out and enjoy some great fishing.

Spring Fishing!!

The fishing has been heating up along with the weather!! I am having a little trouble uploading my new pics. The rain has slowed a bit and the bite is great. We are catcning some really nice fish right now and the numbers have been pretty good. See you on the water!!

Spring time!

The spring fishing is almost here! We have had some great days of fishing the past couple of months. I am looking forward to the warmer temps and big fish. They have started putting on there weight for the spring spawn. This is a great time of year to catch the big stripers. We have been hammered with rain the past two weeks. The conditions should improve over the next week. I will try to get some recent pics up in the next few days. We had a record February for bug fish this year. Look forward to seeing you out on the water.

Joey Shue's Replica Mount

Joey fished with me this fall and caught a nice 28lb striper. Joey wanted to mount the fish so we took the measurements and weight so his dad could get a replica made. They got the fish back right before Christmas and sent me some pics. This is a great show of sportsmanship by Joey and his father. Great catch Joey!!

It was so nice out yesterday we decided to take advantage of the warm weather. We fished most of the day looking for some new spots and fishing some old ones. It was pretty slow but we had a good time. Caught 3 fish 21lb striper 25lb catfish and dad quick released another striper in the mid teens. HAPPY NEW YEARS!!
