Its hard to believe this year is almost over. Thanks to everyone who came out and fished with us this year!! The fishing this year was great. I will post some more pics on the photos page of my site later today. Shadnasty had a record setting day for big fish this fall. Rodney came up from Georgia with hopes of catching a trophy fish. We fished from 9am til 3pm and boated 14 fish. The weights were 16,17,17,18,18,22,28,28,29,32,33,34,35 and 52lber. Rodney caught almost all of the fish but we doubled up when the 52 hit and I happened to be beside it. the past couple of weeks have been slow due to the frigid cold weather. Our last trip out a couple of days ago yielded 6 stripers with the biggest being 18lbs. When the steam plants fire up next week fishing will improve. Once again I would like to thank everyone for your business and hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

What a day
Hit the water around 9 a.m. this morning with my good friend Jack. I started the day off by dropping my keys in the lake next to the dock. I called toyota to see if they could make me. They told me if I didn't have a key to copy I would have to buy a new computer to get a key. some where around 1500 bucks. The water was only 7 feet deep where I dropped my keys. Swimming down for them was a option but I really didn't want to. I took an umbrella rig and tried snagging the bottom for awhile. I finally broke down and called the wifey to tell her the bad news. I had just finished telling her when I heard Jack yell out "I got em". That was the best catch of the year as far as I am concerned. We fished for about an hour after that with a few hits and a 24lber to show. Here is a few more pics from the past couple of weeks.

Fall Fishing!!!
The fishing is great and the weather is wonderful. The fish are in full fall mode. We have caught a lot of surface breaking stripers. I love this time of year. The fish will continue to break and the action will be great for the next few months. I will download some pics on here later this week. Get out and enjoy this weather!

Crazy Summer Continues

Last trip out we boated over 30 stripers with a few in the low 20's. When I run out of bait in less than three hours you know its going to be a good day. I think we went through about 70 shad total. Here are a couple of pics from the last week. I will be out there everyday for the next 8 days so I will try to post some more pics soon.

Fantastic Fishing
The fishing this spring and summer is some of the best striper fishing I have ever seen. We continue to catch good numbers and 25lb + stripers on a daily basis. Live frisky bait is the key. Good size 8" plus gizzards are absolutely deadly for these stripers. If your bait is not in tip top shape you are out of the game. I spend an average of 3 hours catching bait from some of the best bait holes in the region when preparing for a trip. Without these baits you will not consistently catch the bigger fish. I hope everyone is having a great season and if you want to come and enjoy some of the best striper fishing around give me a call. 865-789-1991

July 1, 2010
The fishing continues to be outstanding. We have been catching good numbers with some nice size fish thrown in as well. This pattern should hold for the next few months. Most fish are being caught by pulling boards and freelines. I will post some more pics soon. Give us a call if you would like to get in on the action!
